Excellent question, I think the general mood has undergone a number of phases, the most recent being hopeful optimism. Previously, around the beginning of last term, many people were angry, frustrated and confused about everything. Clearly, this is an extremely difficult time to be a soon-to-be MBA. However, I think this has actually brought most people to a point where they have been forced to figure out what it is they are truly passionate about, and I think over the next year or so we are going to see a great number of new businesses being started up by MBAs who went after their calling after graduation instead of taking the more conventional (but now much less available) route and taking a corporate job. Very interesting times we are living in, but hopefully we will all be able to learn from this and apply what we learn in the future.
