Winter time…
Posted on February 9th, 2011 by Laura HerrejónThere is never a time when I miss home the most than when I look outside and I see feet of snow on the ground. I don’t think I will actually get used to the weather in the USA. I always seem to forget to bring heavy coats and buy myself thick useful boots. I do have come to really enjoy the snow. Who would have said that about me just two years ago? No one! For me, and a I bet for many mexicans, living through this cold is just not something in our plans. My mother-in-law did get me one of the greates gifts. She got me a snow suit and I was able to go outside and play with my dog for about an hour. I have come to accept and appreciate the snow, of course while staying home. Has anybody had any bad experiences with this weather?
Normally people who come from abroad to study they face these problems that u mentioned. actually they are not habitual with the weather and most of them are not mentally prepare for this kind of weather.
It is cold
Always it is difficult to suit yourself into allien state. It’s natural.
