For students in the US, the countdown to Spring Break has started but there are a few things you must take care of before you go. Not only should you check that you have health insurance for your trip, but you also need to file your taxes! So this month we brought you some great resources to help.

If you’re not yet inside the US don’t worry, we have some great schools recruiting international students for you to check out too.

The International Student Team

As an international student inside the US you’re required to file US tax documents. If you have no idea how to file your taxes, check out our step-by-step guide to get started. Remember, the deadline to file is April 15th!

Tips on Taxes

If you have tax questions make sure you attend our Hangout this month with Linda Melville from the University of New Mexico! We will cover what you need to know about filing taxes as an international student or scholar.

Spring Break Travel Insurance Now Available

If you plan on traveling either out of state or internationally for Spring Break, contact your insurance company to confirm that you will be covered. If you’re not covered, consider our Travel Medical plan which will cover you in all 50 states, and outside your home country.
