July brought a lot of uncertainty for many international students in the United States, so we are pleased to have moved into August. Not only is it a new month, it’s also the beginning of a new semester for some of you. To help you with last minute preparations we have a few options you can count on for insurance, loans and textbooks. With the upcoming fall semester starting this month for some, you’ll want to make sure you are financially ready to start. Our student loan search tool will help you find a lender that works with international students within seconds. All you need to do is provide some basic information, and you will be met with the available lenders to compare. Try it out and find a loan that meets your needs!

 

Annual Video Contest

Our annual Video Contest is coming back on September 1st and in honor of its 15th anniversary, it’s getting a revamp. Each year, InternationalStudent.com has the pleasure of granting four outstanding international students with more than $5,000 in cash prizes.

Facebook Live With Northwest Missouri State University

Tomorrow, August 5th at 11:00am Eastern Time, we will be on Facebook Live with our friends at Northwest Missouri State University. Our special guests from Northwest will be Director of the International Involvement Center, Dr. Phil Hull, and current Northwest students Sneha Ojha and Christian Dixon. Get Textbooks for Fall

New classes means new textbooks! If you still need to buy or rent textbooks, consider doing it online. According to CollegeBoard, college students spend around $1,000 each year on textbooks but shopping online for textbooks allows you to compare prices and save money. Try ordering textbooks online this semester!
