May is Mental Health Awareness Month

In 1949, Mental Health America created Mental Health Awareness Month as a way to help people recognize issues that surround mental health worldwide. According to the Statista Research Department, there is evidence proving that COVID-19 has led to increased mental health challenges worldwide. This is especially true in minority communities that have been heavily impacted by the pandemic. Those who have experienced a decline in mental health may consider using the coping tips and resources provided on our blog. We encourage you to read and share this information with anyone who could benefit from it.

Funding Your International Education

Unless you’re one of the lucky ones, it’s very likely that you’ll need financial aid in order to study in the US or Canada as an international student. To find funding for your international education, we recommend first searching for scholarships. If you still need to supplement your funds after scholarships, then we recommend exploring your student loan options. Before applying for student loans, it’s essential to understand how they work- so make sure you read up on all the great information we provide, then use our loan search tool to see what loans are available to you.

Join us Live to Get Extra Loan Information

If you’ve done your research around loans and would still like more information, join our live event next month! On June 17th at 11:00AM EDT, we’ll be live on Facebook and YouTube chatting about international student loans for those studying in the US or Canada. InternationalStudent.com host, Connor Blay, will be joined by MPOWER loan expert, Arbaaz Hashmy, who will take you through the process of obtaining a student loan. Additionally, this is an excellent opportunity to get your questions about student loans answered by a loan expert. Save your virtual seat on our Facebook event page!
