We also have a new client share, an update from our initiative in Guatemala with School the World, and some new team members to introduce. We hope you enjoy the newsletter, and the rest of the month of March.

March Edition - Issue #29

Help this Tax Season

The deadline to file tax returns this year is Monday, April 15th, and InternationalStudent.com would like to help make the process simpler for your students. Our tax Form 8843 Online Wizard was created to help international students file their Form 8843 with ease. This tool is free and uncomplicated; students enter their details, and the information pre-populates onto the IRS Form 8843. Once the form is complete they can then print, sign, and send it to the IRS for processing. Students’ information is deleted upon completion, so privacy will not be an issue.

If helpful, please feel free to share our comprehensive tax section and Form 8843 Online Wizard with your international students and their dependents.

A Warm Welcome to University of Arkansas

InternationalStudent.com is excited to have partnered with the University of Arkansas and to be working with John Mark Cagle, Recruitment and Marketing Specialist. When asked about his experience, Cagle said, "We are so excited to have the opportunity to work with InternationalStudent.com. Right off the bat they impressed us with their excellent communication and deep knowledge of the digital recruitment space. Add in a focus on developing content that provides value to prospects, as well as profile editing tools that are more robust than any we have seen, and you have a recipe for success. We are already seeing leads come in and look forward to working with InternationalStudent.com to continue strengthening the University of Arkansas brand around the world."

The International Student team looks forward to helping the University of Arkansas increase their online visibility to potential students!

Giving Back in Guatemala

The 2019 EIC School the World team has returned from Guatemala and they couldn’t be more pleased with the progress they’ve left behind in the remote community of Caserío Chuchún. Emil, Sutherland, Greg, Yessica and Bryanna joined team members from International Medical Group, Flywire and IvyWise to accomplish building three new classrooms and two new playgrounds. Between mixing concrete, digging trenches and painting, the team was able to get an inside look at the culture of the community and country through a local home visit, classroom teaching experience and a trip to a market. The task at hand has been completed, providing local children access to quality education, and the EIC School the World team couldn’t be more thrilled.

You can read more about each day of their journey within our blog or on Facebook. If you would like to participate in a School the World program, learn more about their corporate opportunities.
