PARTNER Newsletter

These past few weeks have been especially emotional, yet integral to change as many people are coming together to end racial injustice not just in the US, but around the globe. At our core, we stand for equality and have great faith that this pivotal moment will lead us to a future that provides safety and opportunity to all. As you continue to promote international education while the world is evolving around us, we hope that some of this month’s resources are helpful. Until July, we wish you well.

International Student Loan Comparison Tool

They say that students should apply for student loans at least one semester before the first day of classes, and it’s about that time. If you have students in need of filling the financial gap for next semester, a loan can be helpful after other scholarship and aid opportunities have been tapped. Our International Student Loan tool was designed specifically for international students to quickly see what lenders will work with them at the school they attend.

If your students are still searching for funds, please feel free to share our loan comparison tool as needed:

Knowing International Student Protesters’ Risks and Rights

During the last three weeks, anti-racism protests have been occurring in all 50 US states and around the world in efforts to bring equality to all. We stand behind equal opportunity and support the First Amendment right to assemble and to have voices heard by government officials and lawmakers. But what about international student protesters in the US on F-1 and J-1 visas? Are they afforded the same constitutional rights as US citizens?

To help ensure international students’ safety, we’ve created a blog so that international students can learn about the risks and their rights, should they choose to attend a protest. Read about it then feel free to share the information through the link below.
