Connor’s Tip of the Month

Are you checking your monthly analytics report to see how your featured profile is doing? On the first of each month we send you an analytics report to show you a variety of stats about your profile including:
  • Pageviews - How many times your profile is viewed
  • Unique Pageviews - How many times a single visitor is viewing your profile
  • Geolocation - From what countries the students are viewing your profile
  • Age Demos - The age range of the students visiting your profile
  • Language - The language their browser is using when they visit your profile
  • Device - The percentage of visitors who are using mobile, desktop or tablets
Analytics reporting is helpful in seeing where your visitors are coming from to figure out where the most interest is being generated. Want to see other information or receive the report more often? Get in touch and we can customize the report for your specific needs.

Your April Resource

As we continue to transition our brand from Envisage International to InternationalStudent.com, we have moved our advertising section over to InternationalStudent.com. Our updated advertising section includes an online order form, examples of current client profiles and our updated 2017 media kit. Check it out to make sure you currently have the best package to fit your needs.

Welcome Aboard!

We are happy to have South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSM&T) as our newest partner on InternationalStudent.com, welcome aboard! SDSM&T is located in Rapid City, South Dakota- we’re excited to have another Region IV partner on-board and still remember the great Rapid City regional conference in 2013. We look forward to working with them and helping them connect with international students interested in science and engineering fields.

NAFSA Tips from Roxana Tunc

Whether you are a seasoned NAFSAn or this is your first time, we have a few tips from Roxana Tunc at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo that will help you make the most of NAFSA this year:
  1. “Download the NAFSA application on your mobile phone and follow up on all the updates and schedule changes.” Keep your phone charged because you’ll be using it alot. You can use your phone to create your schedule on NAFSA’s mobile app. On the app you can schedule all the sessions you would like to see and list second choices if your first choice doesn’t meet your objective. The app is also great to stay connected with other NAFSAns, so if you can’t visit our booth you can message us through the app!
  2. “Poster fairs are a great source of information- don’t ignore them!” You will definitely bring something back to your school after a poster fair. You can really utilize the 90 minute fairs to have one-on-one conversations with other administrators to learn about their different practices and programs that they’ve implement at their school.
  3. “The event offers unlimited networking opportunities within a very limited time. Try to select 1-2 goals you would like to accomplish during the conference and schedule all your meetings around them.” It’s easy to get caught up in all the excitement that comes with the NAFSA Annual Conference. Sometimes we go off course and see old friends or start collecting free pens. Come up with a few goals that you and your office need to accomplish and stick to them! Create a schedule that allows you to network with others and achieve your set goals.
