Kathleen’s position at Florida State College at Jacksonville is a full-time academic counselor at their Kent Campus where she serves two populations of students: international students, and students in crisis, or who need extra support academically. Through her strong customer service background she is successful on focusing on student needs and helping them achieve success in college and their career. Kathleen enjoys a variety of hobbies, including: travel, reading, gardening, crafts and spending time with family! Florida State College at Jacksonville English Language Institute offers intensive, high-quality, non-credit instruction to non-native English Language speakers. Located in Jacksonville Florida, students in the ELI program have the opportunity to see the sights and experience true Floridian culture. Students enjoy taking trips to the beach, Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens and exploring museums. Just less than two hours away from the city is Orlando, Florida where you can enjoy theme parks like Disney and Universal Orlando.
