I know many of you don’t set foot in a classroom - but you are a savvy educator. During my decade in international education I’ve talked to countless international education professionals and this insight always comes across. You’re savvy in the way you explore new ways to meet your recruitment goals, savvy in finding helpful resources for your international students, and savvy in your embrace of technology and new ways of reaching students. Juggling duties, chasing efficiency and fighting for budget, you have no choice. Through it all you still keep your eye on the goal of helping students - even during a pandemic. For more than 20 years InternationalStudent.com has been arming international ed professionals like you to meet that goal. I’m delighted to have this space to share tools and resources with you, and I look forward to bringing you our best each month.

Sincerely,
Bryanna Davis

TVC: Life After Lockdown

We are pleased to announce that our annual Travel Video Contest will be making its return on September 1st! However, given the current global landscape with the pandemic, this year we have a special edition contest - TVC: Life After Lockdown. Not only has the theme changed, but we are also allowing cultural exchange participants to join students in entering. Contestants will be asked to tell us about one or both of the following:

  1. How COVID-19 has impacted their international education or cultural exchange experience abroad
  2. Their ideal international education or cultural exchange after Covid-19

Stay tuned for more details on our Travel Video Contest's 15th year!

Three Reasons to Create an Account

Every college and university in the United States that accepts international students has a free profile page on InternationalStudent.com. Students from around the world use our school search to find a school they want to attend- and yours is included in their exploration. Here are just three benefits to creating a free account and claiming your profile:

Access to Free Leads

When you have an account, all leads submitted on your school’s profile are sent in real time to the email address you’ve provided.

Dashboard Management

Having access to the dashboard means you can manage your school’s leads and even export all historical data.

Profile Editor Capability

If your profile is showing out-of-date information that needs updating, you don’t have to go through us. With an InternationalStudent.com account, you can use the profile editor to make changes at any time.

Just a couple of our favorites tips- space bar unmuting and the video “touch-up” feature.
