Ready or not, here it comes! Summer is almost over, but to us, the excitement is just about to start as we dive into the fall semester. We know that for many of you this doesn’t mean you can slow down on your recruitment efforts, even if you’re balancing welcoming new students. To help you out during this busy time we have a few ways to keep the recruitment traction rolling. Plus, our Travel Video Contest is just around the corner; not only is it a great project for your students to take on for the chance to win one of many cash prizes, but it is also a great way for them to share just how great your school is!

Sincerely,
Bryanna Davis

Helpful Videos for the New Semester

Did you know that each month we host a new student-focused live event? International students can join our free events to learn about a variety of topics around studying outside their home country like understanding the US dollar and banking system, tips on making friends around campus, working in the US, and choosing a major. Our video series was created as a resource for students. With the new semester just around the corner, please feel free to share any videos they may find helpful this school year.

3 Reasons to Claim Your Free Profile

Haven’t claimed your school’s free InternationalStudent.com profile yet? Here’s three reasons you may want to:

  1. To keep information up-to-date. After claiming a free profile, you can update the profile content.
  2. You will receive your leads in real time through email.
  3. You will gain access to the dashboard where you can export leads.

If you’re going to claim your profile, first you’ll need to register for an administrator account, then you can claim a school through the dashboard. If you need assistance, feel free to reach out at any time, or join our webinar this month.

If you’re a member school of a state consortium you might be eligible for a package discount. Send us a message and we’re happy to see what’s available to you!

Interestingly Enough

Orientation and welcome events for students this fall will likely look different than in years past. Each step along the way through the COVID-19 maze we’re learning to navigate - and that includes when it comes to campus events. Since we’re still all in this together - we would love to hear what you’re doing (or have done) on your campus during orientation that might differ from years past. We encourage you to share with others on our LinkedIn page to let the community suggestions and conversion flow.
