We’re nearly through July, and as we look into the last few weeks of summer, we’re eagerly counting down the days until the new semester. We are thrilled to have students gearing up for the new school year, and look forward to once again having busy campuses across the country. This month, we have some resources for your students as they prepare for their journey, and a few for you, too!

Enjoy our July newsletter - see you in August.

Sincerely,

Visa & Immigration Center

Do you have prospective students going through the F1 visa interview process? Our visa and immigration center might be able to help. There, students can gather information on F1 visa qualifications, find answers to commonly asked visa interview questions, and even check out a video with further tips. Feel free to pass along information on our visa and immigration center to help ease the process and ensure they’re as prepared as possible.

Funding for Incoming International Students

If you have students in need of additional funding, our International Financial Aid resources can help. Students can explore our Student Loan Search tool as well as our Scholarship Search tool, which has over 1,600 scholarships for international and study abroad students. These tools allow your students to find and compare funding options that are available to them during their international education. Feel free to share these resources as needed.

Leverage Your Email Communications

Question: “What tips can you provide to help improve our email open rate when we follow up with our leads that you send over?”

Answer: Getting students to continue the conversation can be a challenge. Of course, one key item to keep the conversation going is to send a follow up to the student immediately. Having an automated communication system in place can help make this a possibility. In addition to this, try using the student’s name in your subject line.

If you haven’t claimed your free profile to view your leads, create an account to get started.

Health Insurance in the New Semester

Just as a reminder: Our insurance center has plenty of health insurance plan options for your students to check out. Students can enter their basic information and see which health insurance plans they’re eligible to explore. Plans can start at just $30/month and provide key coverage for items like doctor’s visits, hospitalization, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation of remains. Visit the link below and feel free to pass it along to your students in need of health insurance in the upcoming year.

Interestingly Enough

Within the field of international education we might always discuss how small the world really is, but what about the universe? As you most likely have heard, NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has delivered the deepest and sharpest image of the universe so far. The image captures galaxy cluster SMACS 0723 and encapsulates thousands of galaxies in front of and behind the cluster. This massive image of a cosmic landscape all fits into an image approximately the size of a grain of sand held at arm’s length, and yet is still just a tiny sliver of the vast universe. It really is a small world (and universe?).
