Although we have a lot of ways to help you enjoy time outside the classroom, like flight deals and entering our Instagram contest, we also want to help you take care of business first; check out our tax section for help if you’re already in the US, and if you’re still trying to find a university start your search with the three we’ve highlighted! Wherever you are in your journey we hope this month’s issue will help you stay happy, healthy and productive.

Get Tax Form 8843 Help

All international students studying in the US and their dependents are required to complete, sign, and mail-in IRS Tax Form 8843 prior to April 15th. We’ve brought back our Tax Form 8843 Online Wizard to help you complete this form in just a few short minutes! Simply answer all of the questions through the Wizard and it will populate your information on the IRS Form 8843. Once you’re finished you can print, sign, and mail your form to the IRS before the April 15th deadline.

If you have other tax season questions let our tax section help you out!

Meet Sprintax

If you are an international student studying in the US who received income in 2019, you will be required to file tax return Form 1040NR or Form 1040NR-EZ. Earning income could mean you have done one or more of the following:

  • Worked in the US
  • Received a grant
  • Received an allowance
  • Received a stipend

If you need guidance filing your tax returns, Sprintax can help. Sprintax services were designed specifically for international students in the US on F, J, M, and Q visas. Almost 100,000 international students trusted Sprintax with their tax obligations last year, if you need help contact Sprintax.
