University of West Georgia

The University of West Georgia (UWG) is a fully accredited, comprehensive university of 13K students located on a beautiful, green, 2.6 km2 campus in the charming small city of Carrollton, which is 72km west of Atlanta, Georgia.

UWG offers more than 90 programs of study at the bachelor, masters and doctoral level. We also offer scholarships (tuition waivers) to academically qualified international students. These awards make us one of the most affordable study options in the U.S.!

In addition, we are able to evaluate most foreign credential transcripts for first-time Freshman applicants inhouse for free. This saves applicants time and money. If you qualify for a scholarship, we'll let you know with your acceptance letter!

Our students enjoy a safe, modern campus, small classes (18:1 avg.), and personal attention from highly qualified professors. Go West!
