Finalist Review and Winners Announced!

This year, we received more high quality videos than ever before. The parity was amazing, as any one of ten videos could have been selected as the overall winner - in fact, from our eight judges, there were seven different first place choices! But a consensus did emerge and we've chosen our winners. First, though, we want to talk a bit about all of our finalists, all of which you can see below.

Each finalist video represents a compelling story, told by a person of energy and direction. Watch Lucrecia play the drums and sing as she makes her way to the New School in New York. Marvel at Sarah Eargle's art and artistry in putting together a quiet, thoughtful and engaging video as she tries to get to Oxford and on to continental Europe. Olya wants to be an occupational therapist in the Ukraine, and her story leaves no one unmoved. In "Travel to Return", Sun Kim takes a unique look at color, space and time. Ana plans to combine study and service with her love of the Peruvian Paso, while Stan Ilyin shows us another side of Grodno through his unique lens. Juan Carlos' grandfather emigrated from Jerusalem to El Salvador in 1955 with no money and no Spanish. Now Juan is studying in Arizona, and wants to return to El Salvador to continue his mission work in helping the people of the country that welcomed his family so long ago. All of these entrants, and several more, have impressed us greatly with their vision and their stories.

We thank all of you for your videos, and wish we could give the Grand Prize to each of you. Your effort, your unique voices, remind us all of why we travel, why we study in places strange to us, why we want to be a part of international education. Thanks also to our judges, who took the time to carefully review and evaluate each video.

Now we're delighted to announce:
