My name is Maybelle Salanga and I am a current Animal Science major at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo California, who aspires to become a veterinarian and loves the idea of traveling. Animals played a big role in my life as I grew up and became the first in my family to attend college in America. In the summer of 2020, I have the opportunity to travel to Thailand for two weeks through Loop Abroad's Veterinary Program and would be able to explore new places and experience many exciting things that would combine both my academic career and personal interests.
