On top of that, Flex Start courses are beginning all of the time! When you’re finished at Valencia College, you will be ready to go straight into a high-skill, high-wage job, or transfer to a four-year university with two years of transferable credits and guaranteed admission.
Valencia offers plenty of opportunities to meet other students, make friends and get involved on campus. So, join in and make the most of your college experience.
At Valencia, students can choose from more than 60 groups, clubs, and organizations including clubs for movie, book, art, and animal lovers, clubs for African American, Latino, Caribbean and Muslim students, career interest groups, student government and Valencia Volunteers. The biggest day of student events is Spirit day, a festival that Valencia hosts every fall. It is a long standing tradition of fun filled events, music, food, games and contests.
Local theme parks, year-round sunshine, and Florida beaches have made Orlando a popular vacation destination and a great place to live. In addition to the entertainment of nearby theme parks, shopping, and restaurants, Valencia students can enjoy downtown Orlando’s unique art and music venues. Sports fans can enjoy UCF Knights athletics or catch a Magic game at the spectacular Amway arena located nearby.
