Computer Animation

Digital Arts & Design

Full Sail's Digital Arts & Design degree teaches creative artists how to improve their skills in this competitive and exciting field. But more importantly, this program is designed to help you develop your own eye for design, and translate that knowledge into a career creating these powerful images. The degree provides a complete design education, with industry-specific courses that will teach you how to communicate ideas and stories through different media, including video, print, motion graphics and the web.

Film/Motion Picture

In Full Sail's Film program, you'll work side by side with a unique group of people who share your passion to make great films. We believe there's no better way to learn than by doing; that's why your coursework will put you on-set, behind the camera, and in the editing suite. You'll get hands-on experience working each position on-set on a variety of different small-scale assignments, enabling you to get a feel for the role that each crew member plays in a production

Game Design/Development

Full Sail's Game School offers a Bachelor's and Master's degree program that will teach the art and technology of software development and design for games. The fundamentals of game creation are covered in this program, which teaches you how to create game engines, develop artificial intelligence, and integrate assets. Full Sail's Game School is home to a community of skilled and experienced instructors, and guided by an advisory board of video game industry professionals who ensure that the curriculum and tools used in each degree program are current and industry-relevant.

Build Your English Skills While Being Creative

LISTEN UPListening and Speaking I
Students will learn strategies for improving listening comprehension, sharpening their skills by listening to and interpreting television programs, radio broadcasts, music, movies, and other forms of media.
ACCENT REDUXAccent Reduction and Pronunciation
Through accent reduction training, students improve the clarity and accuracy of their pronunciation. Students will apply their speaking skills through activities such as plays and radio shows.
READING RULESReading and Vocabulary I
In this course, students learn basic reading and grammar skills and increase their English comprehension and vocabulary. Students will read and interpret written English in a variety of common situations to understand modern usage.
THE TALK SHOWConversational Skills
Students will build conversational skills by learning the sounds, rhythms, and intonation of standard American English pronunciation. These skills will be practiced through activities such as video chats, on-camera interviews, and interactive events on campus.
THE SCRIPT MASTEREnglish Writing I
The focus of this course is basic English writing, as students learn how to model and construct simple, grammatically accurate sentences. Students will practice and learn through journaling, scriptwriting, filmmaking, and poetic expression such as songwriting and hip-hop.
GRAMMAR ROCK STARIntermediate English Grammar
Students will learn intermediate-level grammar for effective communication in everyday academic and nonacademic scenarios. The course offers interactive, personalized learning through mobile applications and multimedia simulations in the Full Sail University labs.
SPEAK UPListening and Speaking II
The objective of this course is to improve listening and speaking skills solidified in teh Listen Up course, as students develop competency in everyday conversation. Students will practice through activities such as public speaking, role-playing, podcasts, and staged events in Full Sail University's studios.
AMERICAN DREAM FACTORYAmerican Culture Integration
This course immerses students into American culture by familiarizing them with key aspects of popular culture in the United States. Students will explore pop art, U.S. history, television shows, and national holiday celebrations.
LYRICS AND JAMMINGReading and Vocabulary II
This course further develops students' reading and vocabulary built in the Reading Rules course through techniques designed to improve their language ability. Students will learn association and memorization tools such as mnemonics, drawing, and improvisation to build their abilities.
THE ARTIST'S STUDIOListening and Speaking III
In this course, students learn the roles of art, communication, and media in society, while building upon the listening and speaking skills learned in the Speak Up course. Students examine the core components of creative expression, and practice listening and speaking through original stories, art, design, and music.
SHOW BIZReading and Vocabulary III
Students in this course will build upon the reading and vocabulary skills learned in the Lyrics and Jamming course, while becoming familiar with concepts related to the entertainment and media industry. Activities include sessions with guest speakers from Full Sail degree programs and opportunities to see events and productions behind the scenes.
CREATE YOUR STORYEnglish Writing II
In this course, students apply critical-thinking and storytelling skills to develop their vocabulary and compose original writing. Students will develop their writing abilities through blogging, podcasting, journaling, and other forms of media creation.

Like Mike Exeter. He is a 1992 Recording Arts Graduate who has worked with legendary greats such as Black Sabath on their latest album Heaven and Hell. Mike said about his experience working with the band, “The greatest feeling is when you sit there in the studio, a big smile comes up on your face, the hairs come up on the back of your arms, and you’re like ‘Yeah, this is what it’s all about”
