Why choose halls?

At City, students can choose from a wide range of University accommodation, most of it in walking distance of lectures, classes and laboratories. The university is invested heavily in subsidies on undergraduate rents to keep their costs low and unlike many universities, City does not make any distinction based on where students are from.

Halls are open to all students and they will become part of a diverse community of people from different backgrounds. The Guarantee Scheme for first-year undergraduates means students are assured of a room in halls if they meet the criteria.

Why choose private accommodation?

The private accommodation service is run by the University of London Housing Services, which means a student has access to a wide network of accommodation and there is free advice from the University’s housing experts, in case a student ever needs help resolving an issue with your landlord.
