Colby has been working in the field of international education for over 7 years and directly advising international students and scholars on immigration regulations, cultural and academic adjustment for more than 5 years. He received his bachelor’s degree in international studies from Endicott College and his master’s degree in international education from the SIT Graduate Institute. He is dedicated to fostering long lasting relationships through cross-cultural educational experiences. The open spirit of inquiry is reflected in our curriculum, which emphasizes connections among traditional academic disciplines. With more than 600 courses, 47 majors and 59 minors you will find plenty of opportunities to discover how the arts and sciences, humanities and social sciences complement each other. At Wheaton, artists dig into chemistry, biologists delve into literature, historians incorporate the findings of social psychology to better understand the past. We believe education is an active pursuit. Wheaton offers myriad opportunities to put theory into practice through internships, independent research projects, studying in another country, spending a semester at one of our partner institutions in the U.S. and participating in campus leadership. International students are an integral part of the Wheaton community. We put a great deal of value on intellectual and cultural diversity. Wheaton's 1,650 students come from more than 70 countries, making our suburban campus feel very global.
