CUI's Pathway Program ensures international students succeed through courses to improve English language proficiency while offering academic and cultural support. The Pathway Program accepts students as undergraduates providing 12 units of intensive English and 3 units of additional undergraduate courses for a period of one semester. Students will be eligible for full undergraduate admission without a TOEFL or IELTS score once they have successfully completed the CUI Pathway Program.

Pathway Requirements:

  • International students seeking admission through the Pathway Program are required to complete the normal undergraduate application process as well as participate in a selection interview. An international student is one who does not hold United States citizenship or lawful permanent residency.

  • Students must meet minimum entrance requirements of TOEFL 62 and/or IELTS 6.0 and have a 2.8 high school GPA. An SAT or ACT score may be used if students don't have TOEFL or IELTS scores.
