Students who have not achieved CSUDH's TOEFL requirement are still eligible to apply for conditional admission to the university through the American Language and Culture Program (ALCP). If a student meets every university requirement except TOEFL from the major to which they've applied, they can be admitted to the university as long as they complete the CSUDH Intensive English Program.
The College of Extended and International Studies at CSU has the job of internationalizing the campus by promoting study abroad opportunities for CSUDH students, leading training and education for international students looking to study at CSUDH, helping international students integrate into the American language and way of life through the American Language and Culture Program (ALCP), providing opportunities for faculty to teach abroad, and helping faculty develop study abroad programs for students at CSUDH.
