The Corcoran College of Art and Design is dedicated to providing its students with an excellent education in the visual arts and to promoting the value of the visual arts to the metropolitan community. Through degree programs continuing education and community outreach the College prepares students to become productive artists and designers. In pursuit of its philosophy the College is inextricably linked to the Corcoran Museum of Art.
