International Center Office
The International Center (IC) provides holistic support to students, information, and programs to international students and works to foster international understanding on campus and in our community. The IC offers support and assistance regarding visas and other related immigration issues. All Designated School Officials (F visas) and Alternative Responsible Officers (J visas) at the UNF International Center are trained and authorized to answer your immigration questions and help you to maintain your non immigration status.
Career Management Center
The Bank of England Career Management Center at UNF offers specialized services to help students create successful and fulfilling careers. Through proactive and individualized assistance, such as individual career counseling, resume assistance, networking training and assistance, mock interviews, and more, the center aims to provide a competitive edge to allow Coggin students and alumni to secure the best positions available.
Wellness Center
The University of North Florida houses the largest fitness center in northeast Florida. The mission of the center is to provide quality indoor facilities that will enable students to participate in activities that will improve their health and wellness levels, providing lifelong wellness and fitness skills for the future. No matter your fitness level, interests, or abilities, there is something for everybody!
The Global Ospreys Peer Mentor Program
This program connects a Mentor (an international or domestic student that has been at UNF for at least one year) with a Mentee (an international student that is in their first semester at UNF) with the goal of facilitating multi-cultural relationships here at the University.
The International Ospreys Club
The International Ospreys Club's mission is to increase diversity through programs and events that promote a culturally enriched environment and traditions of International Students by keeping all channels of communication open in order to promote a global learning environment on campus. The members of the International Ospreys Club are a recognized group of international students who act as representatives of their respective cultures and globally-minded domestic students who want to be more involved with the international student population.
Community Outreach
The International Ospreys Club collaborates with the Center for Community-Based Learning through the Community Engagement Enhancement Program hosting 1-3 volunteer trips per semester. The mission is to connect international students to the Jacksonville community through volunteer service at local organizations such as Feeding Northeast Florida, the Jacksonville Humane Society, and Nassau County Animal Services. This allows international students to learn about issues like food deserts, food insecurity, hunger, and animal welfare and adoption. These transformational learning experiences alter perspectives, serve the community, and facilitate meaningful connections.
