Welcome from the President

I am pleased to welcome you to Grayson College -- a learning college dedicated to student success. Grayson provides you with excellent choices for learning at all stages of life. Whether your goal is to prepare for a career, upgrade your skills, or get a solid foundation to continue your education toward a four-year degree, you will find our faculty and educational programs to be of the highest quality. We seek, in partnership with you, to transform our community and the Texoma Region.

Our diverse student body takes classes in a traditional classroom, online, during the day, at night, or on the weekend. Grayson College serves over 5,000 people each year in academic transfer programs, career training, credit and non-credit certificate programs, customized training programs, and continuing education. Many other members of our community enjoy the College's cultural activities, sporting events, and community events.

It is our passion to help students build bridges from their current reality to a more enriched future. Grayson College provides stimulating learning environments at our main campus in Sherman/Denison (Tx), and at our dynamic and growing South Campus in Van Alstyne (Tx). Many students also study from their homes or workplaces with our online or hybrid courses. Still others study by taking courses for dual credit at our local Independent School Districts. With affordable tuition, small classes, and flexible scheduling (including a weekend college), GC is striving to meet the needs of our community.

In the classroom and beyond, Grayson College's faculty and staff are devoted to student success. Explore our website, visit one of our campuses, or contact someone at the College to determine if Grayson College is for you. I would love to see you on campus.

I wish you much success as you pursue your educational goals.

Dr. J.P. McMillen
