Sacred Heart University
Sacred Heart University (SHU) is a coeducational, residential, liberal arts institution located in Fairfield, Connecticut, one hour by train from New York City and 2 hours from Boston, with easy access to several major airports. Slightly more than 6,000 students study at SHU for bachelors and master's degrees, as well as doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Our safe, tree-lined campus is easy to navigate (28 hectares), is adjacent to an 18 hole public golf course and surrounded by residential neighborhoods. With an excellent ESL program and Learning Center on campus, international students are very welcome.
Recent rankings and recognitions include: US News & World Report listed SHU among the top institutions in the North; The Princeton Review recognized SHU as one of the nation’s best universities and named our John F.
