”II still get goosebumps when I see my own stuff up on screen. There's something about film that is permanent to me. Once you've done it, it's there. If you've done your job right – and you're doing a really good job – it's there on a ‘wow’ level too, and you can hear it in the audience.“

”The higher you move in the industry, the more you climb … it isn’t the workload that increases. It’s the intensity of that work, it’s the importance of those decisions, and it’s the amount of influence that you have in moving something in one direction or another. There is a humbling sense in that.“

“Making games was the only thing I could ever pursue with a passion. I couldn’t be a lot of things for one reason or another, but I liked that games require you to be creative and technical at the same time. I could do that.”

“It's that moment in time – you're capturing that sound that's only going to ever happen once and [it’s there] forever. 20 years later, you hear it on the radio and you remember exactly where you were when you recorded that... when you made that record, or worked with that artist. It brings you back.”
