CDA (Commercial Diving Academy) Technical Institute

CDA was established as Commercial Diving Academy in 1995, in Orange Beach, Alabama, in order to provide training and employable skills in the profession of commercial diving. CDA was founded by Capt. Ray Black in answer to the need for trained commercial divers and the rare-existence of schools of this type. CDA is the realization of his dream of sharing his 15 years of experience and training with others. In 2011, CDA changed its name to CDA Technical Institute to better reflect the expansion of its program offerings. CDA continues to improve and develop associated programs.
