In this Award category, up to three grants are offered to active UK police officers and staff from all ranks to conduct research, pursue professional development and/or assess best practice affiliated with any US institution for a period of three to five months. Candidates choose and make arrangements with US host institutions directly and independently. In exchange for serving as host, Police Research Scholars can be a resource for US institutions by offering to speak to students and faculty about policing and criminal justice in the UK.
