The NextGen Scholarship Fund was created for international students and non-citizens who come to the United States with the hopes of obtaining higher education to create a better life for themselves and their families. It is a scholarship program for students in Washington DC, Maryland or Virginia. One annual award will be given to a qualified and outstanding high school senior or a current college student at a two-year or four-year college. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be an international student or non-citizen enrolled in a US school. Applications are judged on merit and financial need. One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded each Fall.
