International Student Merit Scholarship (ISMS) $8,000 (GPA 3.4-4.00; Minimum of 3.2 GPA to renew); $7,000 (GPA 3.2-3.39; Minimum of 3.0 GPA to renew); $6,000 (GPA 3.1-3.19; Minimum of 3.0 GPA to renew); $5,000 (GPA 3.0-3.09; Minimum of 3.0 GPA to renew).

Applicants for this award must meet the following criteria:

|Other Criteria||(1) Academic status: International undergraduate applicants to Saint Martin’s University seeking to study on an F-1 visa; (a) First-year applicants: High school transcripts will be evaluated to determine the cumulative GPA equivalency. (b) Transfer students: Transcripts from U.S. or overseas institutions of higher education will be evaluated to determine the cumulative GPA equivalency. (2) Program of studies: Must be seeking a bachelor’s degree at Saint Martin’s University; (3) Demonstrated academic achievement: (See GPA requirements above.) (4) English Proficiency: Students must demonstrate English proficiency by one of the following methods: (a) Standardized Test: TOEFL 71 iBT/ 525 PBT, IELTS 6.0, or TOEIC 700 (b) ENG 101: college transcript showing a letter grade of B or higher in ENG 101 at a U.S. higher educational institution; Applicants seeking conditional undergraduate admission may apply for the scholarship; however, disbursement of the scholarship will not begin until the student has fully matriculated. (5) ISMS APPLICATION PROCEDURES: Students must submit the International Student Scholarship Application form along with their application for undergraduate admission to the university.|
