This scholarship is open to persons of all citizenship. Priority is for those from the most deprived socio-economic backgrounds. There are two scholarships on offer. Priority for one scholarship may be awarded to a Graduate Studies research scholar who requires specific texts in order to produce a world-class dissertation.

Applicants for this award must meet the following criteria:
| Other Criteria | This scholarship is intended for currently enrolled students. This requirement may be flexible. For example, the scholarship may be offered to a person who holds a Bachelor Degree and is preparing a complex Statement of Purpose (SOP) research proposal for admission into a research degree program. |
