As every ambitious Lebanese student, the chance of pursuing a decent career in my country was taken away from me. A series of events that go way back in time have led us to the tough reality we are currently facing; hyperinflation, hourly electricity cuts, fuel shortages, and no sign of progress. But for me, leaving is not just it. Even though I am studying Industrial Engineering, my mind always leaned towards to the creativity and innovation sector, in which I would be able to drive change, tackle social issues, and impact the perception of others through creative thinking and art. Hence, my goal is to pursue the MSc in International Marketing and Business Development at SKEMA, in France. The person I am today is the result of all sorts of interactions with the communities I encountered. I really believe that there is Unity in every commUnity, for that I will never be afraid to leave for a new country nor will I be afraid to come back home.
