Community is what I looked forward to for my first ever experience studying abroad, coming out from my hometown of Yangon, Myanmar. Studying architecture at The University of Sydney, I thought I’d be experiencing late night studio time with friends, discussion, critique, encouragement ... But all those never really happened due to the pandemic, having to study online where everyone is more or less disconnected from each other. This disconnection made me long for the community I had with my close friends before attending university. And this is that story.
