Studying abroad is a priceless opportunity for any student seeking out this venture. My studies abroad commenced in India where I did my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree and the experience was so very worthwhile; I was immersed in a different and rich culture that changed my perspective about life. Being here in the US as a graduate student, I can't say less about this great opportunity of being an international student. As an international student, you really are broadened in your way of thinking and get to learn the foundations of how to approach and handle the rigors of life. I would encourage anyone to give a try to studying abroad! My parting shot will be to quote Mark Twain in the Innocents Abroad: Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it solely on these accounts.
