I am an international student from Thailand pursuing my second year of the Bachelor of Culinary Arts degree at Otago Polytechnic in Dunedin, New Zealand. I have been selected as one of the delegates for the UN Youth New Zealand Globalisation Tour taking place in January and February 2020. This educational trip spanning across 5 countries in 29 days is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to gain experiential insight into globalisation within East and Southeast Asia. The delegation will be travelling to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh, Shanghai, Beijing, and Tokyo. In these cities, we will have meetings with government agencies, NGOs, universities, international organisations, as well as global and local businesses.
